Things like child sex dolls and nudify apps are a real response to a real market demand of the extremely lucrative pedophile demographic; and catering to that demand really does contribute to the development of China's productive forces in the same way as any other market demand that Chinese manufacturers and tech companies cater to. The fact that Chinese companies do cater to pedophiles is a sign of the fact that imperialism is a more primary contradiction of the world than child liberation, i.e. whenever in the future when developing China's productive forces has become a less pressing matter, that the right circumstances will emerge to shut these horrible operations down for good. But by that point the damage has already been done, right? It goes without saying that I think that it's horrible that there is a lucrative market for sexually exploiting and victimizing children in the first place, and that I don't want the world's biggest and longest-lived extant socialist state to have companies known to further that exploitation. It's just… amoral. It's awful.
