Is he trying to use this opportunity to radicalize Ed? i.e. by trying to be his friend when everyone else is against him?

Worked when he did it with Morrissey

I feel old. I was around long enough to see Ed go from being a busker to a world famous pop star, and then back to being a busker.

I never heard of him before this.

I think he left Twitter because everybody used to spam him with “Ginger Busker”

Woooooh! Go Sheeran! Get the racists to buy all the tickets that would have been sold if the other bands were there.

I want to understand something: was it Ed Sheeran himself, his management or the places in USA where he was to perform who kicked out Macklemore?

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 17 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (2 children)

kraft banned him , then got all the other stadium owners to blacklist macklemore. Ed shareen had to throw up under the bus to keep good graces with kraft, whom is also in the files. also ED has remaining completely silent on the matter, not uttering a word for or against macklemore. So this tells you shareen really wants continued gigs from kraft.

had to throw up under the bus

I'm imagining him vomiting under a tour bus now.

Well after hearing all this, that changed my mind. Thanks for the explainers all!

[–] thatsTheCatch@lemmy.nz 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I think it was the venues they were set to play at that refused to let Macklemore perform
