Agreed. I made a calendar reminder to check my email, specifically for the Frame, once per day.
I still ended up checking it a few times a day, but every 10 minutes is... Obsessive. Gotta calm down.
And this is coming from a guy who missed his chance with the steam controller because he missed the email and his entire 72 hour window π€¦ββοΈ (I know you can email them and ask if they'll bump you back on the list, but eh, I'll get it later, I don't actually have a use case for it yet)
Iβm waiting too. Relax, you have three days to complete the purchase, compulsively checking every 5 minutes isnβt going to make any difference to how quickly you get it.
It will take more than a few days if your randomized queue number puts you behind many others. A friend's went out 4 days after reservations were set, and I thought that was a pretty quick turnaround.
You could have a look at https://steamframeout.com/ to see the rate of order progress (self-reported though). But anyway, you've got 3 days to respond so there is no need to check constantly (but I do get the instinct to be obsessive about it).

Are they trying to graph the distribution of waitlist vs reservation vs shipped over time? Or just give live snapshots of the distributions? Because it looks like the latter
I got the reservation queue email on the 17th. Haven't gotten my chance to actually buy the thing yet.
for me it took a bit more than 24 hours but i guess i very much used all the luck ot the year and maybe the next. Maybe make times when to check like 1x after dinner (stay nourished bro) so they will hopefully ship it the next day. Maybe try to keep your weekends free to look for games you would play on the frame (but only buy them later, first the frame needs to be paid)

i suspect i lucked out and got it kinda early. havent seen much talk about it.
i am not expecting to get to buy the frame until 2027, but maybe ill get lucky again.

Got mine on Sunday and ordered immediately. Now I'm waiting on any update for the delivery.
Took three days to go from list to reservation queue, then another four before getting the green light on placing my order.
The site informed me that shipping would be a bit slow given the volume of orders, and two days later, it's ostensibly packed and awaiting transfer to the carrier.
What do you mean? Are you asking how much time you should expect to pass between getting the reservation confirmation email and the order confirmation email?
If a VR headset is taking a "serious mental toll" on you, you should consider spending your $1k getting professional help.
I'm not sure how much good 8 talk therapy sessions is going to do. Less if we're counting prescriptions, transportation, and further medical or QoL costs.
