I’m surprised to have watched quite some of them! And I am glad to see Andor high up (subjectively, I would put it number 1, but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea)

Sales pitch: politics, political activism and action in the Star Wars universe. What happens when you are not a shiny Jedi but just a dude? Absolutely great, perfectly paced, tackling cool problems. Gives meat to the dystopian Empire. I will stop here, you should watch the first episode.

I don't think I know anyone that would argue with Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and maybe The Wire (I don't know any of you contrarians) but the rest of the list just doesn't have nearly the writing quality. Which is really weird to think about. 3 shows (really 2, Better Call Saul is really Breaking Bad) that are exponentially better than the rest.

Edit: I mean White Lotus is on there. I couldn't finish the first season. It wasn't dark or witty. It was just rich people being rich people.

I can take it seriously if they have The Americans in the top twenty! Really good showing for British shows in a US-based list. Poor showing for animations that are not Bojack Horseman.

I really like that The OA got on the list.

Almost no one I know has even heard of it.

There's only one show on that list where I've seen every single episode: Chernobyl. And that's only because it's a single, short season. I started others from that list and enjoyed them, but finishing them feels like such a big project.

Vince Vaughn as a cop was the worse TV in HBO. I bet there is a star at the lobby when they killed that character.

I've watched almost none of these. But I've seen a lot of them advertised - hard. This feel like promotional material. I'd bet all of these are currently streaming on varying services. I mean looook at all these shows you haven't seen. Do you want to be the only one who hasn't seen PEN15? If you don't keep paying higher and higher monies to your streaming overlords you'll miss the the in progress award winning shows. Do you want to be a social pariah?

Hey, we're only 1/4 through the 21st century so far. It's too early to call it. The Grapes of Wrath reboot doesn't come out until 2040!

I've seen 3! The Office (US), Battlestar Galactica and Stranger Things. I'm cultured!
