The Romans defeated scythed chariots by using disciplined infantry maneuvers, missile fire to panic the horses, and ground obstacles like caltrops or stakes
It may not be very legal, safe, or mechanically sound, but at least it looks dumb!
I’d like to see what happens and someone mounts a long steel rod on their own car, and drives close to that one.
IRL wacky races?
In the game "Saints Row 2" these are known as kneecappers. They can be used to puncture the tires of other cars by ramming them (In the game, haven't tried thar in real life yet)
