Life is a shit show. The cycle continues.. Perhaps it’s important to celebrate the small things, like a weekly anniversary. Do you observe a weekly tribute to the passing of time- either a beverage, a moment, an all-day outlook, etc.? Which day do you pick and what’s the significance?

I actually like Mondays. I work from home, and that's when I get to have the house by myself.

I have tried to have a day where I don't really do work but its impossible to keep up.

Foursday. It comes two days after twosday!

Friday night dinners are my "work is over, time to relax" marker. I pick something outside of my usual calorie/nutritional goals and also have dessert and use it as my celebration for getting through another week of work. Pizza and ice cream, burgers and brownies, whatever breaks from my usual and reminds me that there's more to life than a constant grind.

Weirdly it's Monday. Monday through Wednesday is often the slowest part of the week for me.

I know its lost its luster and while I don't actually need one by any means, I would love to set one day a week to simply have a beer and celebrate existing- as it were.

For me, Friday is already spoken for and doesn't need anything extra. The same goes for Saturday.. unless it’s grilling time with friends, which is always nice. Sundays are tough because the weekend is almost over.. hmm.

No, I think the optimal time to force a moment of peace and meditation is mid-week. I was thinking maybe Thursday. Because.. “we’re amlost there!” Monday is a no-go with four days ahead still. Blah. Wednesday is the halfway point where its all downhill, so I don’t think hump day needs anything extra.

I’d wager sweet spot is Tuesday. It can be the finish line to help push through a Monday. Gotta have those short term goals. I can handle Mondays and Sundays if my goal is only Tuesday. Rather than waiting all the way ‘til Friday.

I don't care if Monday's blue

Tuesday's grey and Wednesday too

Thursday, I don't care about you

It's Friday, I'm in love

Pg27 of the guide?

[–] Denjin@feddit.uk 1 points 21 minutes ago

You should send that in to the Reader's Digest, they've got a page for people like you.

I don't know why, but I've always quite liked Thursdays. It's a nice day. I don't do anything in particular, it's just a nice day, especially when I was a kid and homeschooled and didn't have a traditional schedule.

I work from home on Friday so Thursday night is kind of like my mini Friday night. As in, I can have beer. I try not to during the week itself.

Any day I'm not scheduled. My favorites are towards the midweek though, when I like to go out
