Decades from now these companies will be lumped in the same bracket as all those American companies that did business with the Nazis

They literally brought Nazis to go to the moon. I don't think being a Nazi is a deterrent in the USA. So it doesn't really matter if they're lumped with the wrong side of humanity. IBM, GM, Ford, Chase are still big names.

For the rest of the world, they would be whitewashed and portrayed as innovators and at worst rebranded under a different name.

No consequences, No regrets.

Businesses will always side with fascists, because fascism is the last bastion of capitalists to retain control of the state and preserve capitalism.

US companies and industrialist funded and collaborated with the fascists because they were always fascist to begin with. So more accurately the US has always been proto-fascist and has been openly fascist since the word was coined. There is no decades from now unless you are in denial.

It's IBM owned now (the Nazi collaborators). They've sold to the max. Luckily alternatives to it exist.

Yeah I used centos like 20 years ago as the alternative with selinux but still I wish they had done better. I guess it's the superstructure that determines the outcome in capitalism

Are you really surprised? Red hat (IBM) worked for the CIA and american gov for a looooooong time.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised, they were the first distro to become capitalist in an open source which is socialism btw world. Logical progression. Evil is as evil does

Glad I went with Debian instead of Fedora.

anything touched by redhat is tainted and it hurts since they did so much for foss in the past -- especially with kvm.
