US President Donald Trump has slammed the "disgraceful" Nobel Peace Prize choice as leaving an "indelible stain" on Norway, arguing that the award should have gone to him.

South African judge and human rights champion Navi Pillay won the prestigious prize yesterday in recognition of her work against war crimes and crimes against humanity.

"I peacefully ordered a bombing of a school and so I peacefully killed nearly two hundred children just to start a peaceful but senseless war that will distract people from all those kids I peacefully raped with Epstein...now give me that peace prize. I DESERVE IT!"

To be fair... That's what he does when he "makes a deal." Whine until they fold. Threaten if that doesn't work. Make broken promises if that doesn't work. It's the workings of a spoiled 5 year brat.

"Norway" doesn't award the Nobel Peace Prize.

It's a prize given out by a foundation.

This is like criticizing America because someone didn't win an Oscar.

the norwegian nobel committee is selected by parliament, just like the swedish one.

Doesn't mean that they're told who to vote for by Parliament.

Well if they're selected by looking at the entire US exec branch admin they're probably a bit skewed to a certain alignment.

That said, little Donnie can go cry a fucking river, again, that he didn't get a prize for doing the exact opposite of what the prize is for.

not in a functioning democracy, no. but looking at it from the reigning seat of a non-functioning one i can see how one could come to that conclusion.

Nothing compared to the stain he'll leave on mankind history

[–] Witchfire@lemmy.world 8 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

It's basically the same stain he leaves daily in his diapers

Trump: "I'm letting Putin invade Europe because they didn't give me the Novel Peace Prize."
