I could put together a list of instrumental house music that I find uplifting, but not sure if that's the sort of thing you want?
Actually, I’m a musicologist from Leipzig (Germany) the town “Where Music Was Invented”, and I’ve been studying this hypothesis for the last 45 years. Alas, I could neither proof it right nor wrong, so that’s 45 years of effort down the drain, I didn’t get tenure as a result, and I now have to fill the regale at Aldi to make ends meet. It’s quite fucking frustrating. As you can well imagine, I hardly listen to music these days, so I can’t provide you with an answer, sorry.
