I believe you had a strong role in helping my dad and I find common ground in my teenage years (1990s) with Next Gen.
I will try and share the same with my now teenage kids.
He deserves a true British royal funeral and monument!
Rest in Peace, only him can make such iconic captain performance as he did with Picard.

RIP legend. I first heard of him when the local paper did a spread on TNG and the characters and said the new captain would be French but played by a local actor. Have to say I was never disappointed.
