Let's see: The original, the two versions on the Gamecube, the 3DS, and the new remake. That's five. Are the other two for their various subscription services?

It was rereleased on the Wii Virtual Arcade and Classics VA on the Switch, too. Both are just an emulated 64 version.

There is also a DEMO that can be unlocked in Smash Bros Brawl.

ffffffffffffffssssssssss There's a remake now. TIL.

Side note: FRLG was peak. You don't need to keep remaking Kanto. You are never going to recapture 90s era Pokémania.

Then they’ll appreciate that I’ve downloaded a ROM of it at least ten times and I’m getting very efficient at sharing.

And it's just a few days away from running perfectly on PC.

It is year 2126, one third of the human population directly died of climate change and another third died in wars to control the last resources.
Somehow, Nintendo still managed to publish Zelda 151, Pokemon 202 and Mario 303.

But there are only 12 elder scroll games.

[–] FishFace@piefed.social 6 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

There are already 9 elder scrolls games that are Skyrim*

*counting the Switch and Switch 2 releases separately because that suits my agenda

So you’re saying we only get three more games instead of six and some of those will be releases instead of mainline entries?

Waiting for the inevitable PC port

Nintendo? PC? Lolno.

That's called emulators. And Nintendo HATES emulators. At least ones that they aren't selling on their own console.

decomp/recomp ports run natively on pcs without an emulator (but you do have to supply your own rom). Ship of Harkinian is a good port of Ocarina of Time, I'm enjoying playing with mouse and keyboard.

https://quiverlauncher.com/ is a great platform for such ports.

[–] dis_honestfamiliar@lemmy.sdf.org 3 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

Nice. Might try this when ocarina of time is available in such form. Thanks.
