I'll just wait for it to fail, then possibly buy it refurbished or if the price drops dramatically.

Where is it getting 1900 euros from? I'm seeing news saying it's priced at 1600 USD which is around 1400 euros, not 1900.

Obviously still a steep price but thats 500 euros different.

Outside of price point, this is the first time I think I've seen a phone have 7000 mah battery. Thats like tablet levels of battery life which is kinda insane.

Maybe they will have some insane incentives with the providers?
And wasn't one or more coming with Graphene?

Freedom and moral improvement?

Charge them an unreasonable price.

A jail you carry around?

Affordable time!

I'm still fine with my Motorola phone.

Glad I bought a pixel 10 pro XL about a month ago.... Seems like I can hold it out as long as possible hopefully... Hopefully this will bite motarola and show this is stupidity.

In the middle of the ram and storage problems you expect tech to some out cheaper?

[–] wreckedcarzz@lemmy.world 5 points 7 hours ago (1 children)

Actually mostly seriously yes. It's not the consumers fault we're getting gangbanged, to no benefit as well, the fuck are we just accepting another shaft like 'well there is no alternative so I'll take it and say thank you'.

Companies: "who could have predicted that scarcity that we created would have caused price gouging? oh won't somebody please think of the customers!" hitting 'post' and then bathing in their profits

If you want a low volume phone in the middle of the RAM and storage prices this is what it costs if its still around in a couple years it'll cost less.

The price is inline with Librems Liberty phone

The back looks ugly. Why so many stupid lenses? A phone should have no more than two.

Normal, telephoto/zoom, wide-angle, led flash. Not sure what the last one is.
