Think nothing of it. I dream about people in my life all the time and I don't tie any significance to it.

People have told me this before. It's fine.

I especially like when dream me actually acts like real me.

[–] reksas@sopuli.xyz 2 points 4 months ago

someone did say this to me once, i wondered what the dream was since he felt it necessary to tell me (wasnt kind of person who prattles about trivial things). But i never inquired further.

I hear this often enough that I just assume I'm a memorable person.

Normally I just ask what it was about, but occasionally I like to throw in a "that makes two of us!" Or "I promise I don't look that good in spandex"

Every time one of my friends mentioned their (toxic) ex I would stop them from being sad and wanting to go back. I appeared in their DREAMS and made them not talk to their dream-ex lmao.

I'd frown pretty heavily and wait for them to explain themselves. I highly doubt anyone is dreaming of me in a sexy way and certainly no one is gonna risk a slap for it (a la Moonstruck), so I'm gonna be thinking they had a dream about some horrible fire breathing demon woman screeching at them and possibly burning down their lives.

To which I will say, cool, man. Then wonder wtf I did to traumatize this person.

Act surprised and a bit concerned, get a few details and then pretend that I also had the same dream but from the other perspective.

I’d be bored out of my mind - same as every time someone starts talking about their dreams.

It’s basically the equivalent of making things up as you go. The moment someone says, "I had this dream last night," I already know none of it actually happened, and I can’t even pretend to care.
