badposting is a comm where you post badly

This is not a !the_dunk_tank@hexbear.net alternative. This is not a !memes@hexbear.net alternative. This is a place for you to post your bad posts.

Ever had a really shitty bit idea? Joke you want to take way past the point of where it was funny? Want to feel like a stand-up comedy guy who's been bombing a set for the past 30 minutes straight and at this point is just saying shit to see if people react to it? Really bad pun? A homemade cringe concoction? A cognitohazard that you have birthed into this world and have an urge to spread like chain mail?

Rules:

  1. Do not post good posts.
    • Unauthorized goodposting is to be punished in the manner of commenting the phrase "GOOD post" followed by an emoji that has not yet been used in the thread
    • Use an emoticon/kaomoji/rule-three-abiding ASCII art if the rations run out
  2. This is not a comm where you direct people to other people's bad posts. This is a comm where you post badly.
  3. This rule intentionally left blank.
  4. If you're struck for rule 3, skill issue, not allowed to complain about it.

Code of Conduct applies just as much here as it does everywhere else. Technically, CoC violations are bad posts. On the other hand: L + ratio + get ~~better~~ worse material bozo

Feeling very betrayed.

Got word that one of my tennants is apparently "pregnant" and nowhere in the contract does it say I'm okay with a baby moving into the property. Can't believe she didn't disuss this with me. Is it reasonable to make her pay double since they're gonna be two people living there or do I just terminate the deal completely for the breach of trust?

[–] KuroXppi@hexbear.net 13 points 4 months ago

Grotesque how they reproduce like this. I would charge double and extra for the advanced wear and tear on the property (the spawn will surely vomit or spread excrement on the carpeting)

I have to confess, I did buy a house. But... I'm such a terrible person... I'm not exploiting it for its full value. I'm just living in it like some poor loserliberty-weeping

Have you heard about rentvesting, you own your home but you don't deny yourself the pleasure of being a landlord or tenant, because you leasey out your first property and then live somewhere else cheaper as a renter yourself! Best of both worlds! You also help out a fellow landlord by paying off their mortgage in turn.

you are suspiciously good at this bit

[–] KuroXppi@hexbear.net 5 points 4 months ago

Yes because I'm a landlord

(The rentvesting thing stufk in my mind because i got ak unskippable youtube ad for it a while back and then my dad brought it up the same week)

if you rent the house and hibernate on the street then it is a big win.

We can provide you resources for renting a room, a basement, even a shed!

I have a confession fellow landchads my tenants won’t tip me shall I evict them?

[–] KuroXppi@hexbear.net 9 points 4 months ago

Give them one week, and if not start charging interest on unpaid tips. Or, make an unannounced visit to the property to unscrew the hinges in a kitchen cupboard and rifle through a medicine cabinet

Why won't my peasant give me my tithe of grain? I need it for my beer and the lazy bastard won't bring it

[–] ThermonuclearEgg@hexbear.net 2 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

Unfortunately, that was your knight you asked, and given there is a famine right now and no grain to be found, your knight went on a dangerous quest to find grain for you. You should have been more careful, not because you may have to sacrifice your knight, but because your knight is now too far away to do your other things for you.

I might buy another 4-5 apartments in L.A. and turn them into Airbnbs .

Nice to finally have a safespace for Landlords on Hexbear. This site really has come a long way.

[–] KuroXppi@hexbear.net 4 points 4 months ago

Make sure thst they're geographically spread out, so you get to spend lots of time in traffic in your bentley so you can inspect them each amd charge the people who stay there a ln additional $500 flat fee for cleaning /after/ the cleaners have come throug. Maybe some will dispute it, but others may pay

I must confess, I own 1/20th of a Hectare that I farm. This year I had to uproot thousands (of buckwheat) and put to the grind.

Have you not a serf or serfs to tend to the plot? If not, I'm not sure this thread is for you...

[–] MaoTheLawn@hexbear.net 7 points 4 months ago

serfless + maidenless + ratio

[–] Vingst@hexbear.net 2 points 4 months ago
