Is China really failing Palestine? In this episode, we ask KJ Noh and Carl Zha to respond to critics who argue that China is not doing enough on Gaza and the Israel–Palestine conflict. Watch their in-depth answers on China’s role, U.S. power, and the global struggle for justice.

If one understands Israel is an extension of western imperialism then if you want to choke Israel you need to choke the US and the West. And in doing so undersranding for a country like the PRC the implications of moving the needle closer to WWIII and nuclear strike by the US.

What about Sudan? What about Congo? What about the past century of murder by the West against the Global South? It's easy for armchair dictats who have done effectively not much against the direct support/ relative inaction of their own governments. It's easy to rail against a peoples (it's a DOTP) who have developed by making strategic concessions to global capital while still maintaining their own sovereignity and still having a DOTP, while the rest of you all have done effectively jack all.

There is only the people of exactly one country outside of West Asia (and even then it is just Ansrallah and Hezbollah) who can sit on their high horse of the above geopolitical morality against the PRC: the DPRK. And even then the DPRK is able to be less isolated now and enjoy a degree of multupolarity due to the PRC.

brother starts the video saying no country is doing enough, but then says putting a part of the blame on China is diverting from the US role.

We all agree and understand the extent of the role of the US in this genocide, but when China is the second largest trading partner of Israel with optical / electronic equipment and chemicals being the most exported, there's validity behind this blame and calling it diversion is extremely bad faith.

That being said it's still not too late to isolate Israel.

Both can be true. The ideal is that every single country on this Earth isolates the zionist entity(and isolated the whole fascist west) or even invade the entity to rescue the Palestinian. However, we know that the genocide won't stop as long as the West provides material support to Israel even if the whole global south isolates Israel. The genocide won't stop as long as the West blocks or delays any initiatives to help the Palestinians. Knowing that and having our expectations clear will help a lot.

We all agree and understand the extent of the role of the US in this genocide

Sadly, no. Not everyone knows or have reached that conclusion as discussed by the video. If they did, I will see more discussions on how the US and Germany sell most of Israel's weapons as disclosed by this study below. Also, I will see more discussions directly accusing the US and Europe of being enablers and responsible for the genocide.

Or how the United Kingdom is enabling genocide by persecuting pro Palestinian solidarity organizations.

Also, we must remember what Mao said about trading. Trade must not be confused with participation.

It will be great if people discussed what China has also done, beside what was discussed in the video, such as this investigation done by RedWizard regarding drone sales to the entity.

At the end of the day, I feel that people that want China to be more ruthless with the entity are stuck in these two idealist positions:

  • “China must directly wage war with an entity backed by the ruling classes of Europe and the US with an infinite budget and commit its billion+ population to an uncertain, nuclear war.”

  • “China must sanction Israel even though sanctions have historically never succeeded in their intended goal and only drive the sanctioned party to pursue other means such as Israel having a blank check from the West to do whatever they want and can always ask for more.”

I understand (although don't agree) that China is simply looking for its own national interests and not worried about Palestine at all. However China has enough leverage to stop Israel any time, since it has the power to sanction or simply avoid collaboration with Israel. It choses not to do so, to prioritize its own multilateral game.

You DO realise nothing will really change unless the USA is stopped?
