Just here for my daily question of: How the fuck does this man have the authority to "order" fucking anything within my government?
Executive branch controls executive things. Voters elected orange man who likes elon.
Put simple, because people wanted this.
Millions of DNC voters stayed home in the 2024 election and known pro-billionaire convicted felon Donald Trump won the presidency.
Now that still technically doesn't give him the power to create a new office. Instead, they kicked everyone out of the digital services office and changed the sign on the door to DOGE. Now that STILL didn't give him power over other offices and the budget, so they've instead been working alongside traitors in the treasury and fighting the courts over legitimacy of their firings and funding freezes.

There absolutely was voter suppression, a voter deregistration campaign, and thrown out votes but sadly it wasn't anywhere near a close enough race for those votes to make a difference. Trump won by millions, and theres a much bigger difference between Harris and Biden 2020's numbers to the tune of 7 Million votes.
That's not fraud or corruption. Thats low turnout.

Every time I read something about the USA in the last few weeks I think "Wow that's shitty. How can it get worse?"
In short order, the answer to my question is served up. I find it worse when the victims cannot speak or stand up for themselves. Though horrible things are happening to a wide range of victims at least they can protest, take action etc. The dogs cannot. I only hope that the handlers make sure the welfare of these animals is taken care of despite the order. They do not deserve to be pawns in the MAGA game, but then no one does.

Yeah Elon Musk is a sick fuck, though lets be real. We all knew he wasn't above something like this, this is just proving what we all knew about him. It's still horrible though.

Having dog handlers pay for the dogs they need for work is totally in line with having teachers pay for teaching tools.
There is a certain type of person that gets extra upset when dogs are harmed. Make no mistake, I'm still very pro-feeding dogs. This is a fucked up event, yet events like these always bring a special type of "animal lover" outrage. If dog food budget is the Elon thing making you angriest today, then your priorities are out of whack.
Especially so if you eat cows, chickens and pigs, they're all animals. Just so tired of the selective outrage.

But seriously, look at this thread. There are people saying this one is too far, that NOW they are convinced Elon is malicious, that this causes the most harm to US national security. All of those things are true and accurate, but if bomb sniffing dogs was your breaking point instead of mass layoffs of both cyber security and nuclear defense personal, racist interns copying entire database of SSN/Addresses/MedicalHistory and Elons full throated holocaust denilaism, then those people were either wildly misinformed or letting doggy emotions dictate your stance more than reason.
