Sorry that I am too lazy to watch the video, but what does the doc do? Just charging or video out as well?

If it is just charging, there are off the shelf docks already and DIY guides on 3D printing sites.

Considering that I already wrote "Followup to I Made A Junk System Into The Ultimate 3DS Console – complete with USB-C charging and capture card" into the description of the post, it obviously supports video out for that specific modded 3DS.
