It seems people are upvoting this because they see Bernie and assume that OP has good intentions here.
Op cited a legitimate source below with good context. All that said, the poorly clipped video snippet of Bernie saying something that seems innocuous, but flies in the face of reality without EXTENSIVE discussion and explanation (like in OP's video), is not being shared in good faith. The forum Bernie and AOC shared was not the place for nuanced rhetoric. OP knows this.
