The new Support at Home Program for older people is introducing a ‘free market’ transactional aged care system. It’s a retrograde step

Is this further evidence that the current federal Labor government is the least Labor-like government in the history of Labor governments?

Bill Shorten tried to do some seriously amazing ALP things and the country told them to go to hell and voted ScoMo.

The ALP will never have the balls to try anything serious ever again.

Every action they take is designed with the number 1 priority being “it has to be a policy safe from fear mongering”.

Unfortunately for us that means nothing gets done. Nothing real anyway.

Bill's ideas were tepid, not even radical. We get the country the majority of voters wanted, a transactional shit hole of a place based around geeed and entitlement

I vote Green and am disgusted by the callous choices of my fellow citizens make..

Fuck's sake, how many times must you learn to keep capitalism the fuck away from social services? THEY'RE DIAMETRICALLY OPPOSED

It should never be near needs, only wants.

I blame voters, fuck 'em.

And here I thought the elderly didn't really believe in anything, but they sure do believe in capitalism...

In before all of aged care services is just thrown up on airtasker. Then they'll throw NDIS on there too.
