Corporations get more welfare than humans, but also are allowed to be considered people. How about we overturn Citizens United?

So, don't let people vote if they have a financial stake in policy? OK, by that logic, no one who pays taxes should be able to vote, since they can just vote for tax cuts and credits. Therefore, no taxation with representation.

But sure, great idea, the only people allowed to vote should be those with no stake in the outcome of that vote I guess.

People have become far too comfortable advocating against the rights of others

What an absolute fucking trash rag of a publication.

Why share this at all? It's a brain-dead take, and your other posts seem progressive. These kinds of articles shouldn't get any traction.

If anything, its making a great argument for scaling it up to the state level. Why should virtually all red states have a say in the federal government by this same logic? They take far more than they pay into the federal system and their existence is subsidized by blue states.

The average person who reads this article and thinks it has merit would probably lose their voice in federal government if the concept was applied at the state level

Damn quality satire for over 30 years that's impressive. I enjoyed this one too. https://mises.org/power-market/back-mamdanis-future

Yeah, start with the rich or this is just "disenfranchise the poor!"
