When the title says "yours" it means marketers, not You the Lemmy user. This is a blog post by a SEO marketing person for other SEO marketing people.

A more apt title for the general audience would be "It's Not Google's Fault. It's The Fault Of The SEO Spammers."

It's your fault that Google search results are so bad, because they learn from their users and all the smart people left years ago.

Do your part, hop on Chrome and help Google get better search results by working for them for free!

Kagi is good too but I think it's fair to blame both Google and SEO spammers.

Edit: lol, guess I just pissed off an SEO spammer
