From what I've seen it has a lil sidebar that lets you limit the resources available to it. Also a load of shortcuts to giveaways and storefronts. It's also hideous, as all gamer stuff should be.

Honestly it gives me more "lowspec" vibes, than "gaming", and there are far better ways to browse on low spec machines.

"Better" ads most likely, aka more personalized.

edit:

Google may have used this data to conduct focused ad campaigns back to those individual members.

That's their exact language

Go into the search bar and type "technology". You will see many of them.

Has anyone tried making a reactor that can be turned off? Seems like an easy upgrade to make them silent in the short term.

The problem with USVs is they're relatively slow, if a ship is aware of their presence and is in a fighting state - it can get rid of a bunch of them. And it seems that navy helicopters are a decent counter, but overall it's too early to tell if USVs are that good or was it the element of surprise.

there is nothing that anybody can do about the most advanced missiles being made today apart from hoping that they miss

You can help them miss. If they're using GPS navigation, jamming works. It then reverts to inertial navigation though, so the longer you jam - the bigger the error.

Or you could try shooting it down, I doubt they can even dodge a head-on intercept without losing a load of energy.

edit: btw the problem you're describing is why cbg is a thing

3 grand for a promise of a russian citizenship seems like a shit deal, so I checked their article on that.

The man also said others in the unit had prior legal problems in China. His family was aware of his travel to Russia, though he had left China posing as a tourist.

Sounds about right. No point in paying for such privilege unless you want to find a better life or disappear.

Someone correct me, but there isn't a real impact here, is there?

Not really, just more proof of mercenaries' existence. Ideally Ukraine wants China to lessen their support of invaders, doubt this is gonna help.

Calamari Racing Team. It's mostly a counter-movement to r/Motorcycles, where most of the posters are seen as anti-fun. Their whole thing is that, not just a specific way to ride, they also have a legendary commenter that pays money for pics in full leather.

What are they gonna do, send a strongly worded letter to their lemmy instance?

You could even squeeze a quadruple A game on there
