A Scanner Darkly is a novel by Philip k Dick and adapted to screen by Richard Linklater in this rotoscoped movie featuring Meany Reeves.
It's about an undercover cop trying to bust a drug ring and ends up taking so many drugs he completely disassociates his undercover self from his work self and forgets who he is, to the point he doesn't realise it's him being arrested at the end.
It's not Dick's best work but it's an interesting premise and has some good moments of druggie paranoia in it
