"As revolutionaries, we don't have the right to say that we're tired of explaining. We must never stop explaining. We also know that when the people understand, they cannot but follow us. In any case, we, the people, have no enemies when it comes to peoples. Our only enemies are the imperialist regimes and organizations." Thomas Sankara, 1985

you could tell Hakim was masking his annoyance by the end of the trot's rant, this guy decided to come on talk about tenant organizing then end the episode by hitting at "Stalinists" (???)

i wonder if Hakim and JT knew this guy was a trot and still decided to have him on for reasons or if they just missed it when vetting him

Honestly, Hakim was more professional than I could ever be. I would be laughing at this guy's face but he was indeed a guest after all.

I think it's intentional. They've done this before. Platforming ultras and trots i mean. They invited a Russian communist on the program who had to have been cherrypicked as a trot, because out of all the Russian communists, most of who are associated with the KPRF, they specially chose to invite one from a tiny fringe group of ultras that just so happens to be vehemently opposed to the KPRF. Why they do this i don't know.

I really didn't like his response to Hakim's question on indigenous discrimination. Very bad vibes. It was bothering me for quite awhile afterwards and only found out a few days later that he was a trot. I'm a bit confused why they invited him on to be honest.

Australia doesn't really have any serious organizational ML representation, like, at all. It could be that they wanted to feature someone from the Aussie sphere and Jordan/Purplepingers is all-but the face of Australian socialism, for better or for worse.

I was pretty chuffed to see him make an appearance on the podcast, would not have guessed it in a hundred years. I could also see ideological differences a mile away. I'm happy he was on for a slightly stilted episode as both sides are mutually platformed this way. I know Purplepingers fans in real life who I can now show an episode of the Deprogram to.
