Minority coalition partner New Zealand First introduced a bill to parliament on Tuesday that if enacted would define women and men by their biology, preventing trans women and men being recognised by law.

I wonder where they got the idea

Of course it's Winston Peters. Someone needs to get that dinosaur out of politics.

I know Hipkins isn't a super popular Labour leader, but at least he's trying to be in touch with the general public and not a complete moron.

New Zealand opposition leader Chris Hipkins told Stuff news that the gender bill was “typical populist politics” and that at a time when New Zealanders are struggling with the cost of living, job losses and a health system in crisis, this was not a priority.

Ok two serious questions.

  1. Whose job is it going to be to inspect the genitals of the women using the bathroom to make sure they are not trans.
  2. Whose job is it going be the inspect the genitals of the men using the bathroom to make sure they are not trans.

Can you imagine the perverts who will line up to volunteer for this job.

Looking at genitals of children all day long.

What about other bathrooms though? You know at the mall or supermarket or petrol station?

More PE teachers.

We’ll have an entire industry of PE teachers, rostered nationally to ensure PE is taught, and genitala are inspected.

Will these people be trained sufficiently to identify natal Vs aftermarket genitals?

This comes on the back of the UK decision last week.
