One of the cardboard cutouts needs to have China too
Memes
Good memes, bad memes, unite towards a united front.
NATO led by the US created the issue. By constantly expanding towards Russia, they destabilized Europe. Europeans were simply following the US like lemmings.
Even if Europe or NATO had the military industry to supply Ukraine (which they don't), they would have problems because Ukrainians are their proxy. They aren't trained on NATO weapons because they are ex-Soviet. Maintaining and operating technical weapons like tanks, and artillery takes years of training which they don't have time to do. E. G. Remember the HIMARS? Didn't change the outcome. Just like the various tanks sent from NATO previously.
The US and Europe wanted this war and don't even care if Ukraine pushes Russia back. As long as Russia is expending supplies, USA doesn't care how many Ukrainians are killed or how much the country is divided up.
Lmao imagine believing this narrative
Yeah, imagine not believing the Hollywood blockbuster scenario of Russia having intended to march their army down across into Portugal to take control of Europe's famously abundant supply of natural resources. It couldn't be that the reverse is far more probable and that Europe seeks to conquer Russia for it's resources which we all know has never been attempted before in history, no.
That's exactly what we are after and we don't see it as a problem. Nobody will cry for Russia.
The West never forgave the Soviet Union for defeating the Nazis.
Nobody..
The West ain't the world as you are quickly discovering with rampant cost of living crises as the subsidy from superexploiting the Global South is increasingly diminished. At some point one is going to have to reconcile the parasitism of the average Westerner. You depend on the Global South, they don't depend on you.
Is this an alternative history community?
Is this an alternative history community?
Quite the opposite. If you don't understand something and genuinely want to learn then please ask.
I wish to learn about you guys. This is new. I'll be asking, sure.
We are marxist-leninists, pro LGBTQ, anti-imperialist and understand capitalism should be understood through science. We get trolls but if you sincerely want to learn then ask away.
Why do you guys pick the Soviet style of Marxist-Leninism? And by doing so, ingesting Russian imperialism (as evident by other comments on this post). Why not go with some other style, like Yugoslav? Which was, to my knowledge, very anti imperialist.
Soviet style of Marxist-Leninism
So Marxism-Leninism?
And by doing so, ingesting Russian imperialism (as evident by other comments on this post).
You lack reading comprehension, understanding of Marxism-Leninism and material reality.

Neither was the USSR imperialist nor was Yugoslavia ML.
What do you think imperialism is?
This what Russia is doing since Putin came to power. And what the USA is doing since Breton Woods. And what China is doing since invasion of Tibet. And so on and so on.
I was looking for a definition.
Not surprised you didn't have one, just disappointed.
How about the genocide the US did to come into existence? The dozen genocides britain, france, belgium and others did? How about the genocide germany and the us arw doing in palestine right now?
You do seem to use a definition that includes use of the monetary system since you mention breton woods.
So how about the imf destabilizing dozens of countries around the world by austerity measures, leading to the west gaining massively cheap resources on average.
Yugoslavia evaporated the instant the USSR wasn't around, they needed them to provide an umbrella from the West and without that buffer they imploded violently.
Aha, so Soviet Union has been protecting Yugoslavia. That's why Yugoslavs dug themselves into mountains and made bunkers along the iron curtain line with soviet satellites.
And yet Yugoslavia was destroyed by NATO, not the Soviet Union or the Warsaw Pact.
And how did that work out for them? Did it stop Yugoslavia from being destroyed?
I guess you think it's just a coincidence that Yugoslavia barely lasted a year without the USSR.
You sound like you are not on the receiving end of imperialism and colonisation hence the speculation about what imperialism may be rather than what it actually it is.
It is difficult convincing otherwise someone who may potentially materially benefit from western imperialism (you are not alone, a lot of us here are too and therefore we engage in class betrayal) but if you are curious and interested in further reading:

Not everybody in the West is a nazi piece of shit like you, willing to murder the entirety of Ukraine to attack another country
You also said who is gonna believe this narrative while immediately admitting that you are ok with NATO provoking the war
Wow I'm in some parallel universe 😆😂
You are. In a scientific one, massively different from what you and a lot of us grew up in. Just we dont believe the lies anymore.
Tell me, does the usa and germany deport its citizens to concentration camps and war zones and destroyed countries right now?
Does the eu currently work on reading all messages by its citizens that arent encrypted and feed them into for profit spy software to make profiles to hunt them down?
Do they work with individuals who are (or were) part of a giant child sexual exploitation ring which documents have just been released?
I can go on like this all day. You are being manipulated. We are the antidote.
As opposed to believing the narrative that Russia is going to invade Europe?
Considering how the eu is destroying itself to keep the wealth transfer to the bilionaries going and how their politicians and large ammount of the population completelly accepts 'Russia bad' as the biggest fact out there, it will not surpise me in the least if Russia does end up (having to) invade europe to put a stop to them.
I suspect people of Europe are going to end up dealing with the problem themselves at some point.
Thats what I thought when I saw the picture. Europe is not hanging up fake flamees. It is tearing down the house and selling thw bricks to then hand the cash to the bourgeoisie. Then its clothes, then its organs.
The issue is that current communist ideology is massively tailist as we are only starting to rebuild from what I see. (Outside of china that is)
We need to get ahead of the curve somehow. If that means anti war demonstrations every week than that it needs to be.
You also have to remember that the struggle is very much a marathon, not a sprint. If it's possible to mobilize sufficient people to anti-war rallies every week that would be great. But if it's just a half dozen people shouting into the void every Sunday that is not going to change much. We also have to think about how to avoid that people who are enthusiastic about doing something now become burned out and demoralized later, when they put in so much work and see no tangible result.
The solution is for us as communists to recognize that this will be a protracted struggle and one that we will not win overnight. So we have to actually organize and get involved with a party, and then get our party involved with unions, with student groups, mutual aid volunteer groups, etc. And in the process of doing that reaching out across the political spectrum to anyone who is anti-war to organize rallies that actually have an impact.
We also have to educate people and agitate against what is currently happening by pointing out how none of the politics being forced on us by the ruling elite in this country is in the interest of working people, and how the bourgeois liberal parties are not on their side. And most importantly we have to stay on message and avoid being dragged into weird academic theoretical debates that the vast majority of workers don't care about and doesn't affect their day to day lives.
good points. thank you.
currently, I'm feeling the strain very much. I run some efforts mostly on my own, supporting both the local community and giving comrades a regular place to meet. it is at times hard to keep going as i dont have the capacity to be my own ideological guide and the man on the ground.
what would help is if i could pull back on theory or praxis and not be the most progressive force in both as I understand that this is not a pace I can hold forever, especially against opposition from outside and at times inside.
I think this is a very new problem in germany as at least in my local groups the communist movement was completely stamped out and I was pretty much the first to get back into it and have pulled in people behind me. At this point I'm more or less thinking aloud: I think it is important for those who are deep into theory by now and have practical experience on the streets to get connected before the german gestapo can react. again, not being tailist, so to speak.
I'll probably update on this both in my podcast radio-free-germany and on my blog. the podcast should be available here if you search for it and my blog is https://blog.giftedmc.com/.
Yeah, imagine being so gullible and naive that you actually believe the fearmongering and propaganda in the mainstream media. How child-like your mind has to be to believe the scary bedtime stories about the Russian boogeyman coming to get you, while those who sold you this ridiculous fear use it to take away your pension and social security and give it to weapons manufacturers. Imagine being so stupid... Good thing Europeans are smarter than that.
Literally everyone in the 90s and 00s: "NATO expansion towards Russia will lead to violent escalation, don't do it."
US: Does it anyway. Also dismisses several Russian initiatives to Join NATO or at least setting up a free trade zone from Lisbon to Vladiwostok.
Russia: Outright tells the US trying to get Ukraine into NATO was its red line.
US: Coups the Ukrainian government, puts nazis in government and swarms the country with agents.
Ukraine: Starts supressing its Russian minority, worshipping nazis. Starts a civil war.
8 years, and several peace initiatives by Russia later: Russia intervenes int he civil war citing "responsibility to protect", which the US previously used to bomb Yugoslawia and cut off Kosovo.
You: "RUSSIA IS A PROBLEM!!!1111111"
Yeah, because it didn't roll over and let the US fuck it again.
Nah. I don't buy the "Russian threat" conspiracy theory. Russia never threatened me. European governments do. Russia can't arrest me or freeze my accounts if i say something they don't like. The EU can. Russia isn't threatening to conscript my kids to send them to a pointless war on behalf of the Brussels elite and Washington interests. My government is.
More like Europe made Russia a problem for themselves for no reason. Russia would have happily been friend with NATO and the EU if only they'd stop being frothing at the mouth bloodthirstily red in the face mad about the fact Russia didn't let them make it a cheap labor vassal like they did to the rest of the former eastern block after the USSR collapsed.
Countries are not "bad". There's this thing called diplomatic ties, and if you keep them no one will start a war against you.
That’s not how it work, there are bad countries
Yes the US empire, its European vassal states and its proxy committing genocide in Palestine are the worst. By that metric that's what was meant, right? Otherwise to draw a false equivalence one would have to be absurdly racist.

The US has a long history of destablising the majority of the countries in this world of which Ukraine is but one example. What you are doing is looking at a long list of victims of a serial killer but saying not this particular one because the serial killer said so.
What defines something as a "bad country" to you? And what does "refresh" mean?
