In lieu of any solid Democrat candidates, a Stewart/Colbert ticket in 2028 looks pretty good. Both are very smart, well-intentioned, and well-grounded people.

Unlike you, Donny, Stephen Colbert is well loved and will land gracefully on his feet in another great role after his exit from The Late Show. Unlike you, Donny, Colbert has genuine friends and fans that think he's a great entertainer and enjoy being around him. I bet that chaps your ass pretty badly.
Comedians are some of the most well liked people in entertainment media.
