I read the article. They really are dangerous, rich morons.

  • Climate denial, even as it destroys their homes.
  • Complaining about poor people.
  • Pushing snake oil.
  • Making statements borderline inciting violence against innocent people.

I agree with the author that it is a microcosm of 2025 and the mainstream right at the moment.

I know the term "toxic masculinity" is somewhat controversial, at least in some groups, but men like Rogan and Gibson are perfect examples of what the term is meant to describe. It's a mentality based on the idea that "might makes right." Being physically strong, or powerful in some way, makes you "right." To the toxically masculine man, it is power and control that determines what is right or true. That's why it doesn't matter if what they're saying is verifiably false. Gaslighting people into doubting their own senses is the point. There's no greater demonstration of control and dominance than having more influence over someone than that person's own eyes and ears and mind. It's all about control and so the best way to defeat these men is to deny them that control.

I feel dumber for having just read the headline.

If men keep getting stupider like this humanity is going to have to replace men with AI I think.

As a man I support this. AI is very stupid and getting stupider, but many men are also very stupid and many are getting stupider even faster. There will eventually a crossover point, I think.

I am a man too, this isn't an easy vote for me either but facts on the ground are solidly grounded facts and you are right once everyone realizes that as shitty as AI tech is, it is still less shitty than men, we are totally obsolete.

There will eventually be a crossover point, I think.

I think we are bravely passing over the threshold of this crossover as we speak.

Progress is progress and cannot be denied, peak efficiency is clearly NOT men.

Men 2.0 will probably be based mostly on lady stuff or at least the combat models will.

I knew it was going to be that stupid ice cubes melting in a glass video. So fucking dumb. I've often wonder though, exactly why Mel Gibson's stupid about that. Cuz there's the obvious he doesn't understand that a lot of ice is on the land and is running into the water. But it's Mel Gibson so he's so stupid it could be something else. It could be that this idiot thinks that all land is just like bobbing around on top of water. That is possible we had a congressman who thought that once, why not this moron? I hope it's that one.
