I thought the trumptards were all about no new wars? I suppose they've kept sucking trumps ass even as he twists randomly to new directions?

Hypocrisy does not bother these people. In fact, it's a good thing to them if it annoys you. They believe in nothing.

They're all about whatever Trump says. If he contradicts himself half way through a sentence they'll charge their minds half way through his sentence.

Someone (the oil companies) greased his palm enough to convince him it was a good idea. "Follow the money" has never been so true or obvious.

Capitalists will destroy the world to increase their stock prices.

He also URGENTLY needs a new warring enemy, someone who fights back.

This to completely overshadow the interest in his epstein-misdeeds (investigators are closing in on connections between his child-pageant-business and the epstein files) And he needs to be able to cover the economic woes with the "It's war!" excuse.

Trying to hide official economic numbers and sing praise on a pink cloud only works right up until the full populace realizes their finances are not getting better at all and everything is getting steep price hike upon steep price hike.

I hope you’re right but I feel like he will never face any repercussions for being a pedophile at this point. None of them will.

Venezuela's oil fields have been on America's radar long before Trump. The only things Trump is thinking of is crap like a ballroom and renaming the Kennedy Center.

As you say, the rest has been jammed in his brain.

Excuse me – it’s a special operation – thank you very much.

[–] blattrules@lemmy.world 6 points 5 days ago

They’re just about whatever he says at the moment and will do mental gymnastics to justify it.

[–] Lemmyoutofhere@lemmy.ca 2 points 5 days ago

They are all about what herr leader said in the last 24 hours.

[–] IchNichtenLichten@lemmy.wtf 18 points 5 days ago

Does this latest affront to decency somehow make him less of a pedophile?

[–] WanderWisley@lemmy.world 5 points 4 days ago

Venezuela oil, Cuban cigars, Colombian cocaine. It’s an 80’s party again. We just need an isolated island and some children and oh…

[–] Alexstarfire@lemmy.world 14 points 5 days ago (2 children)

Cause our operation in Cuba worked so well last time.

[–] shalafi@lemmy.world 3 points 4 days ago

The Bay of Pigs was nothing like an all out invasion. The idea was to give impetus to Cuban rebels, let them continue the fight. If the fascists want Cuba, it's theirs.

[–] NOT_RICK@lemmy.world -2 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Not that I support it, but I think that’d go a lot differently this time around. Cuba doesn’t have the solid backing of a superpower like they did last time, and they’ve been weakened by decades of sanctions.

[–] shalafi@lemmy.world 2 points 4 days ago (1 children)

^ Points out the obvious.

Lemmy: Where's my fuck you button?!

[–] NOT_RICK@lemmy.world 5 points 4 days ago

Meh, I don’t care if my opinion on the matter bothers people. I’d be staunchly against any sort of invasion or other kind of CIA ratfuckery but that doesn’t change my position that a half assed attempt from over 60 years ago is not really relevant anymore. Nobody is starting a thermonuclear war over Cuba in 2026.

Orrrrr hear me out. We could throw him into the middle of Lake Michigan and be done with it
