One China, One Taiwan, two countries across the Taiwan Strait

Pandering to their main partner I guess.

Considering how badly Colonialism 1.0 went especially for Africa, and how the 2.0 version isn't much better, I think it's understandable that they aren't keen on co-operation with so-called Western countries, and might be looking elsewhere. Is China really better than all that? I don't think so. Is it worse? Probably not.

The African Union side reaffirmed its firm commitment to the One-China principle because China pretty much owns our asses by now

The People's Front of Judea have very strong opinions on returning the One China to its ethno linguistic component peoples. For a group so fond of attacking colonialism and autocratic empirialism, surely they have no place in the People's Republics.

Give the land back to Uyghurs, Tibetans, Zhuang, Miao, Manchus, Tai, etc...

Han people are generous and just and value freedom.

Maybe if the China you are referring to is the Republic of China, because it has never been part of the PRC
