The US was buying pork from China (article says they make up ~50% of the world’s supply). Not understanding these ‘cheap pork’ comments…

Americans have this deeply ingrained misunderstanding of their trade relationships with the rest of the world, that's why it was so easy to mislead majority of them into believing whatever the fuck nonsense they voted for.

The title maybe makes it sound like china was buying pork from the US. Maybe since usually it’s a buyer that would cancel an order (as a seller would usually sell to anyone willing to pay the market price.)
All of the bacon and booze not exported, will help swallow down the misery.
