It is an image that will haunt very many people across Israel. A corner of Beit Shemesh, flattened by an Iranian missile; a synagogue destroyed; people killed while they sought refuge in a bomb shelter.

When we arrived on the scene, we were told, repeatedly, that this was just a place where people lived, prayed and got taught. No military base, no hardware, not even a government office.

"Why would this be a target," said one person. "There is no excuse."

Crazy how, when you forget what constitutes a valid military target when antagonizing a majority of your neighbors, your neighbors might forget what makes a valid military target too.

Almost like the very concept of valid military targets exists to protect civilian life during conflict.

To religions, everything is a valid military target.

"the horror". I like the phrasing when it's Israel getting hit. Never saw this kind of phrasing for Palestine.

Clearly, they were Hamas.

(Am I doing this right?)

You're doing it wrong. Clearly it's those sacks of bones Palestinians they're starving to death.

Please, Israeli bots, keep ousting yourself so that I may block you!

If Israeli still doesn't put Netanyahu on the chopping block, i have no sympathy on the death of some random Israeli. The focus should be on the horror Netanyahu caused by bombing the school and hospital. War itself is horrifying, yet i have no sympathy for Israeli, nor the leadership of Iran.

Evaded.

Passed through their false pride of self defense air systems.

Sadly, of course there’s an excuse… In war, common decency is lost. Retaliation is considered normal. The generals don’t care if “mistakes” are made because “enemy” lives are not valued.
