Good headline. Projection is a favourite rhetorical trope of the fascists.

Every accusation is a confession.

[–] rayyy@piefed.social 3 points 5 days ago

BINGO! That is the whole Republican story in a nutshell.

[–] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 20 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

Remember when this loser cried about being fact checked during a debate?

The Republican party can never be trusted again. They are America's enemy.

Does anyone have a more punchable face than vance?

[–] floofloof@lemmy.ca 39 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago) (1 children)

Arguably, all of Musk's DOGE bros, Musk himself, and Nigel Farage.

Edit: And, of course, Scott Bessent.

Get Boris on that list

[–] minorkeys@lemmy.world 19 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Charlie Kirk did, may he rest in turmoil.

[–] grue@lemmy.world 9 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

Nah, too small to make a good target.

(Edit: for punching, at least)

Come on guys he's the type of person to wake up everyone in the house to announce they are going to bed

[–] Corporal_Punishment@feddit.uk 39 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Vance needs to fuck off. Sofa shagging cunt

[–] earlstilt@feddit.uk 14 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Bowman, his name is Bowman - he can’t even be honest about that

[–] Greyghoster@aussie.zone 6 points 5 days ago (1 children)

So he is effectively JD Vance nee Bowman.

A gender-affirming name change, perhaps.

"Stop interfering with my interference!"

[–] gergolippai@lemmy.world 18 points 5 days ago

...while he's in Hungary, actively interfering.

also, Vance, the word you're looking for is "kanapé".

[–] Madzielle@lemmy.dbzer0.com 12 points 5 days ago (1 children)

I watched John Olivers newest episode on Hungary yesterday.

The US and Hungary are doing the same things. The US wants to follow Hungary's example.

Its fucking wild.

Somedays, I think, the US will revolt and overcome this shit show, other times I think, dear speghetti monster, we are destined to suffer.

[–] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 5 points 4 days ago (1 children)

We're on a fast track to becoming a crossover between North Korea, Russia, and Hungary.

Probably happen within the next decade or so unless we do something about it.

It can happen here. And it is.

[–] Madzielle@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago) (1 children)

it is happening here. Ten years? Bet 5 or less.

[–] hanrahan@slrpnk.net 1 points 4 days ago

polymarket, here we come!

[–] Jiral@lemmy.org 21 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

Projection, like always. I do like the Guardian headline though, reveals that fact without the need of openly stating it.

I hear Hungary has some nice furniture.

[–] Honytawk@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 5 days ago (1 children)
[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 1 points 4 days ago

too minimal. Hungarian furniture is thicc and juicy.

[–] drolex@sopuli.xyz 4 points 5 days ago

If you average the faces of Orban and Vance you get the right amount of chin, the right amount of forehead, but way too much cheek material

[–] Lydon_Feen@lemmy.world 4 points 5 days ago

The fucking gall!

[–] HowRu68@lemmy.world 1 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago) (1 children)

#Add seems I was wrong. very weird, it's same newsoutlet and title. But different story & journalist. my bad

[–] Buffalox@lemmy.world 2 points 5 days ago (1 children)

Same headline, but not the same journalist and not the same story.
IDK why they would post 2 stories with the same headline.

[–] HowRu68@lemmy.world 3 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago) (1 children)

That is weird., to say the least. ok my bad, but also very strange .. maybe it was updated idk.

[–] Buffalox@lemmy.world 3 points 5 days ago

Yes it is weird? I can perfectly understand how one can make that mistake, even as they are now.
