Rules:

  1. The mods are fallible; if you've been banned or had a post/comment removed, please appeal.
  2. Off-topic posts will be removed. If you don't know what "Leopards ate my Face" is, try reading this post.
  3. If the reason your post meets Rule 1 isn't in the source, you must add a source in the post body (not the comments) to explain this. If the reason is in the source but is tedious to find (e.g. in a lengthy video), you must add an explanation for where it is.
  4. Posts should use high-quality sources (for a rough idea, check out this list), and posts should retain the title (if one exists) from works like news articles, videos, etc. You may (but need not) edit your post if the source changes the title. Other types of posts should have a title which accurately, relatively neutrally describes their contents.
  5. For accessibility reasons, an image of text must either have alt text or a transcription in the post body.
  6. Reposts within 1 year or the Top 100 of all time are subject to removal. Within moderator discretion, this doesn't just include reposts of the exact same media but also includes e.g. a secondary source telling basically the exact same story as another that was already posted.
  7. This is not exclusively a US politics community. You're encouraged to post stories about anyone from any place in the world at any point in history as long as you meet the other rules.

“I feel betrayed, like he was a wolf in sheep’s clothing,” Bright, who has several disabling medical conditions, said. “It’s like high school class president: ‘I’m gonna promise we are going to get pizza every single day,’” Bright said. “Then as soon as they get elected, they are like, ‘Oh, I lied.’”

You feel… betrayed…? That a well-known and notorious liar and grifter lied to and grifted you…? Just like he did the first fucking stint he had?

No, this one gets chalked up to “user error”. This is on you. Fucking idiot.

If only she had more than a decade of evidence that Donald Trump was a pathological liar that didn’t just spilt hairs, deflect, or cite misleading statistics like most politicians, but actually told complete fabrications on easily disprovable subjects where there was ample evidence that he was making shit up completely.

This is why the, "all politicians lie though" excuse is such bullshit. It's not even close to the same thing.

Holy shit these people are so fucking dumb.

Literally the only excuse here is having brain damage or having been indoctrinated by your parents.

Or short memory.

Hey, at least they're not blaming immigrants for this.

How fucking dare someone draw Trump as a wolf. The only form befitting of that piece of human trash is a mosquito or a big leech, maybe a microorganism causative of disease.

Or a seagull - noisy, steals your shiny things and food, shits all over you, and leaves until it feels like bothering you again

[–] wjrii@lemmy.world 2 points 48 minutes ago

A seagull is better-read and more charming, though.

You're forgetting the parts where everyone was telling you how it was impossible, asking how he would pay for all of the pizza, and then you screaming back "fuck you nerds".

Oh and the fact that we're not in high school and your adult level critical thinking skills should have seen right through the obvious lies

More like a wolf dressed like a wolf that acts like a wolf and talks like a wolf but points at the sheep and says "Those are the wolves!"

[–] ThePantser@sh.itjust.works 4 points 1 hour ago

But the sheep are his followers, he points to the sheppards dogs that are just there to work and calls them the wolves.

[–] antonim@lemmy.world 3 points 1 hour ago

It was a wolf who promised to the sheeps he'll eat all the cows so the sheep will have more grass for themselves.

[–] Clent@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 1 hour ago

The idiot sheep convinced themselves was the cleverest sheep dressed as a wolf but anyone with basic critical thinking skills never mistook for him either.

They won't accept their idiots so nothing has fundamentally changed. They've only added this to their victim complex.

If you had the ability to listen to what two women, Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris, and countless others were incessantly saying was going to happen if you elected him, you would have known what would happen if America elected him.

Lots of Pikachus attacked by leopards, I see...
