Sleep Token - Gethsemane
Sleep Token - Infinite Baths
Read this right at the end of Gethsemane, so I have two. I recommend both, especially Infinite Baths; and the rest of the album at that.

Memphis LK - Some Kinda Heaven. Pretty solid song if you like the Y2K Electronic/Hopecore type of sound. Fun fact: she is actually the daughter of Paul Kelly, who made legendary songs such as Dumb Things and To Her Door.
Don’t fuck with my money- Penguin prison
It’s alright
As The World Begins To Wane - Absent Moon - Chuck Salamone
Its like ballad or opera rock or something and it tells the story of what happens to the characters of Hylics after Hylics 2. I'd only recommend it if you played the Hylics series.
i don't want to be with you - i hate myself and i want to die.
Awesome band if you like that mid 2000s emo skate punk sound
You've piqued my interest, I gotta check this one out
My phone's detection app says Close to You by Dayglow. I'm on a plane waiting to takeoff. The song is fine, I guess.
Enheten by Pastoratet, and unless you know swedish, probably not
What I hear right now:
Tuomas Holopainen - The Life and Times of Scrooge
(Genre: Celtic, Heavy Metal (don't agree with claim lol), Symphonic Rock, Rock)
Various - 攻殼機動隊 MEGATECH BODY.Cd.,LTD (Genre: Electro, Tech House, Techno)
Various other songs for which I am to lazy to list.
Usually EDM or J-pop/rock.
Some Artists:
(label) Monstercat Uncaged/Silk
Akatsuki Records
Starset
DECO*27
shiey
Edit:
Forgot to mention, I mention, I really like the releases of "Eye" -> https://open.spotify.com/artist/3zqz8Khnygbv4LJia0v0iY (if you dislike spotify, the artist is also on YT)
Specifically "Majestic Sadistic" and "Domestic Drastic"
Pelagic by Covet
Absolutely recommend, very chill instrumental math rock.
Barry Mann - Who put the bomp? because somebody referenced it in the !tenforward@lemmy.world thread about James R. Kirk's middle name.
Kinda fun as far as '50s pop goes, I guess.
Edit: Now I'm about to go listen to "video killed the radio star" because I double-checked the tenforward link was correct and found a thread referencing that in there too. Why is it unusually musical tonight?
Edit 2: it is now the next morning, and "Who Put The Bomp?" remains stuck in my head. Send help.
Rain out the window, 100% recommend
The third movement of Mendelssohn's Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in E Minor, with Hilary Hahn on violin. It's an absolute banger.
Anything by The Flashbulb right now.
Chemlab - latex
Yes
Far Horizons - Skyrim Soundtrack. And yes, it's simultaneously chill and makes me want to go stand on top of a mountain and gaze into the distance moodily.
I have a collection of video game soundtracks that I keep running at a quiet volume pretty much 24-7 for my cats because they have separation anxiety and I'm gone a lot. Skyrim, Oblivion, all 3 Witcher games, Stardew Valley, Terraria, Baldurs Gate 3, a couple of the Assassins Creed games, and a couple others are in there. Currently I have over 1000 songs in my main playlist that I run, but I have way more soundtracks that I don't have in that playlist.
Not The Same Anymore - The Strokes
It's OK, but my personal favorite from the same album (The New Abnormal) is Brooklyn Bridge To Chorus.
Safari - James Holden remix. If you like electronic music, yes I would recommend it.
Rain, Rain, Beautiful Rain - Ladysmith Black Mambazo. Do recommend. Maybe not my top pick from them, but pretty good.
The quiet fan in the bathroom.
I don't have the album link, but I got the individual link to the song I was listening to while I found thus question: Last Words by nostraightanswer. It's part of their Specters album, which I have on CD and LOVE, so yes I recommend it. This song happens to be about the fear of others passing away.
It's my maybe 4th favorite in that album behind Empty ( about depression ), Lies In Their Blood ( school shootings ) and Face to Face ( dealing with a stalker ). It's a pretty serious album that manages not to be super dreary throughout the whole thing. Would recommend.
Subterranean Homesick Alien by Radiohead. If you're feeling sort of like one just now. Pay attention to the lyrics
Rick James Super Freak lol
This one: https://open.audio/library/tracks/434296/
Wouldn't particularly recommend it, though. 😅
You can tell that it's an instrumental track with the vocals missing.
Here's the song with vocals: https://www.joshwoodward.com/song/SymmetryandthePocketofAngels
I certainly like other songs from the guy better, though...
Orange Juice Jones by JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown
Hell yeah. It's dope.
Deathwatch (Warhammer 40,000) by Jared Moreno Luna
7/10. It was great background music while playing Satisfactory, but now that I'm actually focusing on it, it's pretty repetitive. Playlist started with Starcraft music - also a pretty good match for Satisfactory!
Adam Freeland's 2008 essential mix, you should dig it up and give it a listen
6 feet under by Carter Vail. My wife and I love him. I would happily recommend the song.
Little Brain - Into the Sun
sttng opening theme. and yes. because what comes after.
