Regarding spoilers; Please put "(Spoilers)" in the title of your post if you anticipate spoilers, as we do not currently have a spoiler tag available. If your post contains an image that could be considered a spoiler, please mark the thread as NSFW so the image gets blurred. As far as how long to wait until the post is no longer a spoiler, please just use your best judgement. Everyone has a different idea on this, so we don't want to make any hard limits.
Please use spoiler tags whenever commenting a spoiler in a non-spoiler thread. Most of the Lemmy clients don't support this but we want to get into the habit as clients will be supporting in the future.

Too many cooks, too many cooks!
I wonder if the same team saw the success of those two and decided to make a movie.
Wish physical releases where still a thing. I don't want to pay if I'm not allowed to watch it in the future without streaming bullshit.

Well, you can always go the classic DVD-R route.
Even when i had a disc drive that could burn discs, it was only cdr.
Flash drives are phyiscal media too 🙃
In that case so is my phone. Still doesn't let me own this movie.
You have a very bizarre and incorrect definition of "own"
How is it owning if you have a DVD but not so if its on a chip? What the heck do you mean by "own"?
Damn, that sucks. Between movies and my hacked PS2 and Wii, I probably burned a dvd per day on average in the late 2000's.
Did that plenty with the ps1. Stopped playing console for a good decade. Didn't get another console until the xbox one.
You should look into running a Plex or jellyfin server
It looks so weird in such a good way.
Arg, it seems to just be in prime and appletv. Fuck both of those platform.
Not on prime for me
