I literally picked up the 1st issue when I went to my local shop for free comic book day. It was much better than I was expecting! Anyone else here reading?

I've heard nothing but good things, and should really catch up.
Huh. I've never had much interest in the comics versions, but I like the mood of those samples, and the Ferengi character. For a second I thought it was Quark; I guess he's the most available photo reference ;)
I'll always question why they need to keep using Kirk, but I'll give this a shot... just for the horror of it all.
