How about we stop listening to what the USA has to say. At least for now.

You listen knowing they will always lie/spin the truth, because from the spin and lies and with knowledge of the liar (what benefits and doesn't benefit) you can get to the truth. There's no point in passive listening unless you wanna be a propaganda parrot, lol.

Someone should explain to him why NATO exists. Then point to his own “truths” calling Putin “crazy*.”

  • Not crazy, just an authoritarian doing what everyone who isn’t fanboying over him has known he’s wanted to do since forever because he’s said he wants to do it on multiple occasions: reunite the SSRs, through force if necessary. Maybe if Russia, with their history of staying in/prolonging/winning(?) wars by feeding really stupid numbers of people into the meat grinder (see also: current conflict in Ukraine), and a maddeningly growing number of other countries, wasn’t a threat to democracy in Europe, we wouldn’t need NATO. Crazy, I know.

How about we include Ukraine but throw out the US?

[–] ShinkanTrain@lemmy.ml 4 points 2 weeks ago

I think this might satisfy all parties actually

But Victoria Nuland and Geoffrey Pyatt said we "were in play" a little over a decade ago... were they both rogue agents?!
