this is actually probably going to slow down Linux adoption. I saw some people on Reddit saying this gives them more time before having to switch to Linux.
I've been on Linux for a while but what is really telling is that my not as technical wife was willing to switch to Linux. Yeah she didn't like having to relearn an OS but she hated all the AI crap that Microsoft continues to keep pushing more. So I guess thanks Microsoft.

I'm really happy about this. I still need Windows but refused to make the jump to 11 on my personal computer, and now I can continue to do that a little longer!
