the code required to move the taskbar to the top or sides isn’t actually in Windows 11, because Microsoft created the new taskbar from the ground up

Funny, I run a script on my work computer that let's me move it. I like it on the top.

On another platform, someone claimed he was maronite christian. I guess I'll have to wait until someone asks him in an interview. 🤷

"Senior party members previously told Reuters they had been approached by Chinese officials or middlemen and told to disband or face severe consequences, including possible arrest."

How did this person's life work out? I would love to hear more about that story.

Unless you are Russia, North Korea, China, or similarly aligned, it is in your interest that Ukrainian men be in Ukraine defending their country. If you are in Ukraine, it is in your interest that they be returned to fight. If you are on the front lines, you damn well have the expectation that they be made to join you on the front lines. It doesn't matter what these men want. It matters what they will be made to do. And the pressure needs to be turned up to send them back to Ukraine to fight. Call it what you want but, in a just war, conscription is morally just, and pulling men back home to join in the defense of the county is morally just.

The unforeseen effects should be enough to give us pause.

What's the difference between big software companies and drug cartels? No, this is not the opening line of a joke.

If healthcare was government run in the US, I imagine that it would be a lot like the public education system. Those who live in wealthier neighborhoods have great facilities and great doctors. Those who live in poorer neighborhoods and neighborhoods with higher crime would have lower quality facilities. Do you think we would finance it like we do public education? Do you think we would gatekeep access like we do public education?

I'll be honest, I've only seen a few images of hostages returned to Israel and all of them looked healthy. I had expected their condition to be worse. That said, I've not looked at any video and only a few images, so I could be missing something. What are the allegations and evidence of allegations being provided by those who have been returned? I'm not invested in either side of that conflict, so I don't feel a need for either side to be the "right" side.

It requires more effort to spread intelligent ideas.

The description of events she provided should have produced physical evidence. Bruises at a minimum. Did she publish photo evidence?
