Doing so as if thats actually a progressive take is particularly gross. Comparing said evil spirit to black people is also gross, that is an obviously faulty comparison.

You are not the author of their culture. They are. You can imagine this is a non canonical exploration of the idea of a wendigo just like the people who imagine fucking one, but it's an evil creature. It is their folklore that they have a ravenous hunger for human beings, and are explicitly evil.

For her it's a way of processing different parts of herself by personifying them as separate characters, and she enjoys anthropomorphic animals as an aesthetic 🤷🏻
