I would agree with you.

but after years of propaganda saying that Gaza needs to be killed because of a 2006 election. I think that logic needs to be applied to the country making that propaganda. The US voted for it very recently, no excuses.

don't worry, it'll somehow be Biden's fault

tell that to all the civilians in Guantanamo and Gaza.

if the first aggressor doesn't give a fuck about rule of war, it can't complain about them

Wow, such stupid.

do you think pharma uses slaves for research?

and do you think MARVEL movies is a justification for slaves?

You're so pathetic.

remember reading an national geographic article about modern slavery.

it focused in Dubai construction, Israel sex trade (kidnappings), and US farms.

it was really depressing.

found the article but it's not online, "21st-Century Slaves" September 2003 Andrew Cockburn.

will?

it already happened.

he said he'll exempt some industries from ice raids. those who work well be even more desperate, and the bosses will be able to call ICE to kidnap whichever worker isn't performing as desired. under those conditions it might as well be slavery without the actual ownership.

I do miss that early internet, it was more discovery and exploration and much less doomscrolling.

and I agree that corporations destroyed it.

i realised that the response StumbleUpon cannot exist nowadays,is because internet is just a handful of sites rather than countless small ones. God StumbleUpon was superior to wherever we have now

a painful part of thinking you were a leftists, but we're actually a liberal, reading and becoming an actual leftists, is learning that those I thought were "good" were not, they just weren't as bad as others.

don't criticise me, I already said I was wrong, and I'm glad to have changed.

you half joke, but there's no doubt AI controlled drones are a thing already (or going to be within a year).

given that drones can be jammed now. Ukraine has been using tethered drones to avoid it, and the next step is to give them a gpu and run ai models internally,

I wouldn't be surprised if military drone usage data is being used to train some models.

slight proof for this is Russia putting tires on top of airplanes to trick AI, which means they after confident AI war drones are a thing already.

i think even without capitalism, social media works better on scale (even federated social media, does so but decentralised). you will join the bigger systems, and those systems are more likely to grow if they are bigger...

they will be much less toxic without capitalism though

she would be less bad in the optics of some issues, but yeah, this country needs real change
