In my experience, if you didn't write the function that creates the list, there's a solid chance it could be None too, and if you try to check the length of None, you get an error. This is also why returning None when a function fails is bad practice IMO, but that doesn't seem to stop my coworkers.

Yes, the supreme court ruled that any "official act" of the president is legal, so unless the supreme court wants to either
- Undo that ruling, or
- Rule that this isn't an official act,
Then Trump is 100% in the clear.
I have good news though, you don't actually have to move to China to avoid watching Mission Impossible: Final Reckoning. You can in fact avoid it from any country.
