Have you lived in America for the last decade? Trump can ALWAYS find a way to make it worse. For instance, he could order a draft.

I hope he does, that will make young people vote against him.

A few weeks ago, he was willing to disband NATO to get Greenland. Now he needs their help?

I would definitely not be happy if Newsome was the Dem nominee. He's less of a Democrat than the Clintons. He was once married to Kimberly Guilfoyle, before she became Don Jrs concubine, so that should tell you all you need to know about all of them.

But if Newsome was the nominee, and my only other choice was a MAGA, then I'd vote for Newsome, only because even he would be miles better than ANY MAGA.

I don't ask you to lead the revolution but when the time comes will you fall in line or will you fight against your fellow workers?

I'm not sure what you mean by this, but I don't have an issue with my fellow workers, unless they are unapologetic MAGAs. I would never turn on my fellow workers. We need to stand in solidarity against the slave-owners.

JFC, HE CHEATED! Everybody knows it! He won EVERY swing states? That's was pretty much a statistical impossibility. They made no secret of it, both Trump and Musk both said many times that they intended to steal it.

All they had to do was flip one vote in seven states. That's how we ended up with MILLIONS of straight Democratic ballots, with Trump at the top. MILLIONS OF THEM! Who does that? Who votes that way? Have you ever met a person who voted straight Democratic, except for Trump? I've never met one, and I've never seen one on TV. That's because they don't exist, not in any significant numbers.

And the craziest thing is, they ONLY seem to exist in the swing states, because that vote pattern didn't occur anywhere else.

But as soon as the polls closed, the MAGA comedy act of Schmuck & Jeffries immediately declared Trump's victory "fair & square," abdicating their sworn responsibilities, and condemning America to the political Hell we are being dragged through.

If it was "fair & square," it was the first time in his entire life that Trump didn't cheat, and it is highly doubtful that he would choose the one election that would keep him him out of a life sentence in prison to finally play it straight. Does that sound like the Trump we know?

Quit doubting America, quit doubting Harris's campaign, and place the blame where it belongs - on Trump, and his evil cabal of corrupt, treasonous, pedophiles.

Nope.

Several former world leaders are currently or have recently been imprisoned, particularly in South Korea, Malaysia, and Pakistan, frequently due to corruption charges. Notable examples include former South Korean President Park Geun-hye (later pardoned), Malaysia's Najib Razak, and Pakistan's Imran Khan, highlighting a global trend of prosecuting former heads of state. Al Jazeera

Key Imprisoned or Recently Convicted Leaders

Imran Khan: The former Prime Minister of Pakistan is currently imprisoned on convictions related to corruption and leaking state secrets. Najib Razak: The former Malaysian Prime Minister is serving a 12-year sentence for corruption related to the 1MDB scandal. Park Geun-hye: The former South Korean President served five years of a 24-year sentence for bribery and abuse of power before being pardoned, according to The Week and The Guardian. Lee Myung-bak: Another former South Korean President, sentenced to 17 years for embezzlement and bribery, later pardoned, as reported by Al Jazeera and Time Magazine. Jacob Zuma: The former South African President was sentenced to 15 months for contempt of court, notes Johnson County Library. Cristina Fernández de Kirchner: Former Argentine President/Vice President was sentenced in 2022 to six years for fraud, according to Johnson County Library. Omar Hassan al-Bashir: Former President of Sudan, jailed for corruption, notes Time Magazine. Nicolas Sarkozy: The former French President was convicted of corruption and influence peddling, receiving a sentence in 2021 that included time served under house arrest, according to PBS and Time Magazine. Jacques Chirac: Former French president who in 2011, was convicted of corruption and handed a two-year suspended jail sentence, as reported by Al Jazeera.

Context on Prosecutions

Global Trend: Data from Axios shows that since 2000, leaders in at least 78 countries have been jailed or prosecuted, including many in democracies. Common Charges: Most convictions stem from corruption, bribery, fraud, or abuse of power.

So the global trend is prosecution, often followed by prison. Only in America do we let traitors and pedophiles walk free.

That was a long time ago. The current trend is to imprison corrupt dictators, if they last that long, and if some Putz doesn't come along and pardon them.

Instead of renaming French Fries to Freedom Fries, they'll just ban them, and people who make them in their air fryers at home will be designated terrorists, and be executed.

As a result, the potato futures will plunge, and the entire potato industry will be destroyed, farms will go out of business, animal feed will be short, leading to meat shortages.

And the MAGAs will be on TV saying "It was hilarious to see the Libz getting angry because there were no fries at McDonalds, which was our objective.

"The fact that another major commodity market was destroyed as a direct result couldn't be predicted, and isn't our fault, or our problem.

"Thanks to President Trump's leadership, we achieved OUR objective in record time, and this operation was a TOTAL SUCCESS!"

"I want Greenland! Give me Greenland, or I'll go to war with Europe! Give me what I want OR ELSE! "

3 months later:

"You better help me save face from my virtuosically incompetent war strategy OR ELSE!"

"Please spend billions of dollars to pull my ass out of the fire!"

France already told him to go fuck himself.

That's a war crime, and a president should receive a 10 years prison sentence just for saying it.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 22 points 1 month ago (5 children)

That's simply not true. Most Americans are extremely distressed with what is happening in Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran. There is a small group of MAGA Billionaire Pedophile Psychopaths who have stolen our country, and are using it to advance their own personal agenda. We are doing everything we can to thwart these maniacs, but our tools are limited, and our best tools, elections, are on a calendar. We can't shift them, we can only wait, and VOTE.

After that, if they somehow sabotage our last, best strategy, the 2028 Presidential Election, then we'll have to resort to more serious strategies.

That's how I see it. A Draft is about the worst thing a nation can do to its citizens, especially during a war. It is the same as pointing a loaded weapon at someone. You are putting their life in mortal danger, and I have no problem with them using lethal force to defend themselves.

When the draft starts, the first thing that needs to happen is for every military induction center to be burned to the ground. And when they rebuild, burn it down again. Also any military recruitment shops. If they show up on college campuses, run them off, and force colleges to prohibit their presence on campus.

The Draft is as immoral as any government policy can be, must not be tolerated, and must be harshly resisted in every way possible.
