That's what I would figure. Sweet potatoes are more like gourds, pumpkins, etc, than actual potatoes.

That's why we have to characterize them as disgusting, dirty, and dangerous, and shun them from normal society.
Just because MAGA is willing to throw away the Constitution, doesn't mean the rest of us are.
Several years ago, authorities were searching the world for a guy who had been going around the world, molesting children, photographing them, and distributing them on the Internet. He was often in the photos, but he had chosen to use some sort of swirl blur on his face to hide it. The authorities just "unswirled" it, and there was his face, in all those photos of abused children.
They caught him soon after.
The problem is that as effective as vaccines are, they still have a failure rate. A certain number of VACCINATED individuals are still going to get break-through infections. Usually the incidents of a disease are so rare it never affects the vaccinated, but in a break-out like this, a lot more vulnerable vaxxed individuals have a lot more contact with sick people, and they catch it. That gives the disease the opportunity to mutate around the known vaccines, rendering the current vaccines useless.
They aren't just threatening other anti-vaxx dummies, they are affecting ALL of us.
You can say Fuck.
"You're all protected by your precious vaccines, right?"
And what would you have us do?
There are legal steps still available to us by the Constitution, and we will follow those legal steps. The first is the Midterm elections in November, and the second is the Presidential Election in 2028. We will not surrender the last righteous Constitutional opportunities to follow an illegal strategy that is almost certain to fail, and will cause MAGA to lash back harshly.
We will have the Midterm elections, and see what happens. It is likely they will molest that election before, during, and after, but we have to hang tight, and fight through it. Then in two years, we'll do it again.
Between those two elections, we will resolve this, one way or another. It may take legislation, protests, and even violence, but we won't be the same when we come out the other side.
But we have to take the proper steps, and impulsively attacking some well-armed camp, with no real agenda or objective, is stupid and self-destructive. That's the way MAGAs think, only as far as the next step, with no concept of the reaction or consequences two or more steps down the road.
This is the time for intelligent, strategic thinking, not running headlong into rifle fire.
He is reminding us that it is important to remember that you can completely support your Country, while condemning the MAGAs who have taken over our government and our country by fraud and force.
MAGA is NOT America. They are an illegally occupying force, and they do not represent Constitutional America. It is Patriotic to speak out against MAGA. This man is a HERO.

So it makes sense that they would do whatever is necessary to gain that extra coverage in the crotchal region.
