I am more into spaces, but as long as the indentation is done consistently i can tolerate tabs.

Remember 10 years ago the YouTube app only showed ads on every 3rd video and often only a single 5 second ad, and everything longer could be skipped.

Like a frog in a pot I could tolerate that amount, a few years later they started the ad ramp-up and what finally drove me to install vanced were 3 unskippable ads you had to endure just to watch something.

Yes I was joking, get a random timestamp in this format and you have no idea what it's referring to.

DD:HH:MM:SS:mm:yy is even better because it could be a MAC address.

I prefer the alphabetical date format DD-HH-MM-SS-mm-yy for maximum confusion

I would say you answered yourself, it will take years before AI is good enough as a reliable real-time translation.

And the current LLMs have a tendency to hallucinate combine that with mistranslations and lack of the nuances you mention.

When I think of LLM hallucinations this Monty Python skit comes into mind:

Because we didn't do our research, we ended up at a hotel in Mallorca that were filled with people in their 20s partying all night and the included food fitted the price, for instance one night they served thin slices of meat-ish-spam with overcooked greens.

But we didn't let it ruin our holiday!

She should have thought ahead and packed some Marmite and toast or a bit of Stilton and some crackers just to be safe, that was common for older people in the 1960's.

It's a paradise for the Kim family, the rest of the population not so much.
