The NFP handed a program to the central block, which they refused, they also made concessions which were also rejected. That same central block then proceeded to get in talks with the far right, conceding more and more with each iteration. The far right then voted to censor the government and do it all over again. Macron himself got involved in some districts to ruin the chances of NFP candidates to win the election.

His plan is pretty clear, put the RN in power hoping they make fools of themselves and push his cronies as saviours.

Roughly three weeks since his nomination, and only 13h46 minutes with a new government. The lettuce wins once again.

They did, but then they pretty much ignored the results

Nice for these people to be so open about their shittiness, it removes the benefit of the doubt and makes it easier to weed them out

It's almost like people driving are not the ones who have time to shop in street level shops. Nice to have some data to back it up, but it's pretty obvious.

Yeah because that's totally the reason why Israel is doing all that. Not because they need Lebensraum, but because three dudes in a territory, they have had complete control over for the past 20 years, killed some of their citizens.

Not much, it's mostly due to the fact that in the last 8 years, Macron has wrecked tax revenue. Basically, we are spending as much money as we always have, roughly 50% of our GDP, but the revenue has plummeted.

Most of the money has gone straight into the pockets of a handful of people, and these people are now massively funding fascist propaganda to prevent being taxed and paying their fair share.

It's a really easy problem to solve, framed as a conundrum, and fear-mongered to death.

The Vth Republic is done, it was not great when it was introduced, and then it got twisted and corrupt. It's extremely vulnerable to bad faith actors and one president (let's say a far right one, for instance) would send us into an authoritarian dictatorial nightmare in no time. All the previous administrations paved the way for this to happen smoothly and it might actually happen in 2027.

We really need to move on, and get a new constitution as soon as humanely possible.

With fair tax brackets it shouldn't matter much

Then you set up an exit tax and a tax on citizens living abroad
