Yeah, more CO2 in the atmosphere and higher temps would be absolutely terrible but somewhat "livable", but acidic oceans ? If most plankton and algae die, we're done and there would be nothing we could do about it.

The great thing about low pH oceans is that it would snowball so quickly once it gets past a certain threshold, that we would have barely any time to react. It would kill us all in a matter of months at most.

LLMs and generative AI will do what social media did to us, but a thousand times worse. All that plus the nightmarish capacity of pattern matching at an industrial scale. Inequalities, repression, oppression, disinformation , propaganda and corruption will skyrocket because of it. It's genuinely terrifying.
Thunberg is a public figure and that would trigger something if anything were to happen to her (apart from being illegally kidnapped during an act of piracy by a rogue terrorist state). But there is also Rima Hassan on board, a French Palestinian sitting EU representative. The fact that nobody in the EU, and especially France, called Israel out on kidnapping a sitting rep yet is absolutely appalling and terrifying.
And it's women who are too emotional to lead !

I'd not recommend Synology anymore, as they're starting to implement vendor lock on their drives and NAS boxes. As in, you'll have to use their drives for the Nas to work.
You're joking but she's been labelled as a Hamas supporter because she denounced both Israel and Hamas' crimes, and provided evidence that the armed struggles of Palestinian was justified by international law.
She's one of the only people I'm aware of that publicly exposes the complexity of the situation.
