I recently went there a few months ago. It was almost entirely empty and there were only a handful of shops, some of which were already closing before the demolition plans. That mall had been on life support for years, sometimes it's better to just pull the plug.

Sometimes. I tend to do it when the posts are all low quality or I have seen them reposted a lot. Haven't done this since I switched from Reddit to Lemmy, though.
