Was the information valuable enough to torture people in order to obtain it? Do you think value of this information justifies what the Japanese did to these people?

Don't kid yourself. They gave him immunity because they didn't care. It's not like US never experimented on people. Or enslaved them. Or committed genocides. Or you know, dropped couple of atomic bombs on civilians just to see what will happen.

"- This guy says he has some info but want's immunity.

  • Sure, why not? It's not like he did anything we wouldn't do."

we will receive $300M in cash and equity from xAI

Wait, Elon is paying Telegram to use Grok? Probably why I'm not a multi billionaire but paying people to use your service sounds like a weird business model.

Pikachu, Naiki (Nike), Daiya (Diamond), Pū (as in Winnie-the-Pooh) and Kitty

Is that the worst they can come up with? They could learn a lot from Americans.

Yeah, I hate when they don't let you exit when passing right next to your destination. I mean, you don't even have to stop, just open to door for a moment.

Sell brain-computer interfaces to people. I'm not saying that Neuralink will ever get there or that it's a good idea but the goal is to improve on the way we communicate with computers. My guess is that Elon's vision is some Neuralink clinics that for small price drill a hole in your skull and implant a chip. The $9B valuation is obviously just pure fantasy at this point and the $600m invested is probably from some billionaires that don't know what to invest in anymore.
